Question type: Car Customization

i plan on using 37' to 40' tires when i put a lift on the truck but i dont know much about axles. i hear dana 50, 60, ect. i dont know what to look for and if im looking for a dana 60 is every one i find going to work or is it going to be a huge modification?  where do i look?
