what is the best year to buy a used astro awd van? i am looking for a reliable vehicle, of course, and i wish they had never stopped making them. if i could, i would buy a new one, but since that is not possible, what model year proved to be the best bet for a used awd astro?

A friend of mine swore by the 1993 Astro vans, owning at least two between high school and moving out on his own. It has been 10 years since high school and he still drives a '93 Astro van.
