well guys i have a honda d16z6 engine and i really need help modifying it..i'm new in this and want to get in some racing..did alot of racin on stock bt i think finallyp i can strt with a few mods..plz help me..

wht are the initial things tht i can do?? a few days ago i bolted in some 4-1 headers and exhaust..dnt knw if tht was rite bt people suggestd 4-1 wud be good thts why i went for them...plzz with ur help i could build a fast car..tell me about the initials MUST things tht shud be done..slowly we can turn it into a beast..i will keep u guys updated so tht u could help...thanx

hey man, welcome to the mod world! the d 16 has plenty of potential, so don't give up. I don't know Honda very well, but i do read Honda tuning magazine, you should look into it, they are very knowledgeable about those motors. try to find the july 2006 issue, it has a 4 door civic with a d16y8 pushing 301 wheel hp and 225 lb-ft. I believe passwordjdm.com has parts for the d series motors. good luck man.
