Car idling super low

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Ok so recently a few weeks ago my car started
shaking upon cranking it up in park and i looked
down and my car was at like 300 rpm, then it
jumped to 1200 and slowly went down to 750. Its
only happening when i start it up and it only does it
once in a while. It feels like its going to die but then
goes to normal. It seems to happen the most after
a long drive or parked on an incline. (Gas is full
btw) Actually the other day i had to back my car up
a steep hill in reverse, no problems occurred but
after getti g back on level ground i turned it off and
was asked to move my car 20 minutes later and i
cranked it up and it idled so low that it died! I tried
again and it idled at 250rpm then went to normal
after a few seconds. Since that day i havent had
any problems, ive cranked it about 6 times since
then and it seems fine. I know theres something
wrong though and i want to get it fixed but i have
no earthly idea what's wrong.
