2220142014 Accord fuel pipe

Asked by Jul 25, 2015 at 06:19 PM about the Honda Accord

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

A body shop replaced rear quarter panel. They cut the fuel pipe near the top and tabbed
it back together. Now the gas pump handle get stuck where they crimped it. Weren't they
suppose to remove the fuel pipe and then replace it? Should I demand they install a new
fuel pipe? The accord fuel pipe is all one piece to the gas tank, from what I see on the
web.

Absolutely. If it was damaged they should have replaced it. Not "Scotch Taped" it back together. HTH. -Jim
