Question type: General

There is a switch near the gear shift. I do not know what it is for. Is it for something to deal with the AWD?

The switch could be one of two things. If it says ect on it then it is for extra power/ extra rev. If your model has AWD then it could be that as well. Depends what is on the switch. Your manual would tell you what it does.

If it's a 2wd model that switch adjusts your transmission to operate differently. Turn the switch one way to alter the shift points for more agressive/sporty driving. FLick the switch the other way and the transmission starts in second grear rather than first. This is beneficial in snow or other road surfaces that have limited traction.
