does a 97 lexus es 300 v 6 have an interference fit on the valves and timing
belt

It is NOT an interference motor. It is a non-interference motor. Your motor code is 1MZ-FE. This means that if your timing belt fails, you will NOT bend valves or have engine damage to the pistons or valvetrain.
