A stock Lotus Elise makes 189 HP. Lotus also created the Elise SC 220 which made 218 HP. Don't be fooled by the low horsepower rating compared to other cars producing 400 plus horsepower. The Elise only weighs 1900 pounds which makes it quick and handle better than any other car I've driven.

HP is a function weight movement over distance, how can the horsepower be so low, how is it measured for this car?

Your Answer:

Elise
