Question type: Maintenance & Repair

i think timing belt broke ,how do i check and can engine be saved

1 Answer

Run a compression test. If all cylinders test low then the timing belt has broken. I don't know if your specific engine is an interference engine. But if it is you're going to have to have the head(s) rebuilt. That's big money!! Hopefully not!! HTH. -Jim
