1994 lincoln town car no spark

rodents got into engine compartment and gnawed through a wire harness and now the car don't start after rewire, has no spark or fuel pressure

You may be better off replacing the entire engine compartment wiring harness. Try carpart.com for a good used one. Check under the dash and make sure there's no damage there. Critters can get into the passenger compartment through the ductwork for the heater and air conditioning. For future reference use moth balls or Bitter Apple dog repellent in the engine compartment to keep the critters away. HTH. -Jim

Each wire that you replaced must be the same gauge and have the same resistance as the wires they are connected to- and then if they are soldered, that changes the voltage or amperage or whatever it is that controls these new-fangled gosh darn devil machines-
