I went four wheelin got stuck in some mud reverse worked fine got pulled out of the mud no damage done to the car and now my reverse doesn't work

it acts like it wants to go in reverse it's almost like it's constantly in gear in park its in
years in neutral ass in gear in first second its in gear the only girl that doesn't work is
reverse

Maybe some mud/water seeped into the transmission? Was it that deep? Maybe the linkage is caked with mud?

Well Tom it was over the front wheels completely and we had to climb up the back of the Laredo so we didn't get the money it was probably just above my knees
