can 2011 jeep patriot 17" rims fit my 2002 jeep grand cherokee limited???

Asked by Dec 29, 2013 at 11:41 AM about the Jeep Grand Cherokee

Question type: General

1 Answer

Stick to the size that is indicated on the driver's door jamb....three reasons why you should, 1.) the suspension is designed around this size...changing the geometry will put forces where they weren't designed to be. 2.) the VSS or speed sensor would be incorrect, 3,) in a roll-over crash, the insurance company may not pay if this is the wrong size tire on that~
