Put in 1995 cherokee moter in 1997 grand cherokee limited now won't start

turns over have spark have fuel new plugs,wires cap put in different dist and coil,new batt
checked fuses and relays, computer says no codes also replaced crank sensor,will not start won't even fire. Have tried everthing that can think of

You mentioned a new dist, did you install it properly? Timing marks with TDC? Also check all your connections and grounds?

Unfortunately 1995 was OBD I and 1997 is OBD II. You may not be able to get it to run without major changes to the computer system, if at all. Sorry!! -Jim

only different parts are the inline six and intake, used org.fuelbar and flywheel. computer should read nothing new. Thank you but i have considered these options, only replaced dist. after first attemp to start.
