I have a 2004 jeep grand Cherokee laredo. When stopping slightly fast it makes a weird scrapping sound that sounds like it coming from the center council dash area. Also when you hit certain bumps.

I'd take a gander at your engine mounts...and transmission mounts too....they will go bad~
