can i remove the oil pan on my 4.7L ho v8 1999 jeep grand cherokee without lifting the engines the car runs ok just worried about low oil pressure

Should have a good quality gauge like a mechanic would have test for oil psi first, before any thing is done. Even then I doubt you'll find anything with the sump, tube or screen.
