NO to your question. What bearings? The PCV system has only one moving part, the valve, and it is a very simple device and no bearings whatsoever involved. So again, I ask, what bearing(s) did he say are bad?

No, some shops inspect the vehicle as part of a service appointment. Probably just something that they found while fixing the PCV system. HTH. -Jim

I took my car in the shop it had a major tune up 2 months early but it started to over heat so I took it back in to have it checked a he did an emotion system over hall the car was running well that day the next day I was driving and I heard this loud pop and the car lost all power I was a half mile form the shop so I took it back he said the hose had come loose and blue the engine

I th3n was told to bring it beak to talk to the manger he sild the hose that blue was a vacuum hose and it could not have blue the engine but their was nothing wrong with the bearing when I brought it in

Sounds like it blew a head gasket into the crankcase. That would blow out the PCV valve and/or hose because the compression from that cylinder would be forced into the crankcase. HTH. -Jim
