driver seat latch not unlocking seat and it will not tilt forward any suggestions?

had the same problemon my 99 GA,just work with it,it will start working.

ls1gto.com do a search. if its a common problem it will be there. if not create a new post. the guys there are extremely knowledgeable about these cars.

I have the same issue w/ my 2005. It did it a few times, but seems to have gotten better, now that it's not the dead of winter.

try pulling it back at the same time push the button & see if releases if so spray lightly with white littium grease.

You'll have to pop the back panel off. Careful because the plastic snaps may break. If they do, they are only a couple of bucks a piece. find the cable attached to the latch and trace it to a tension nut in the line. Try turning the nut to take up slack. That should fix your problem.
