My 2006-pontiac-grand-prix is shaking very bad, with the engine light on, did a tune up, egr valve. Can any one help me
You need to get the code to help guide you with the issue you are having, you can go most any national auto parts store and they can read the code for you. I have a feeling to have a vacuum line that came off...
I would say to get that done as well... need to check for codes and get you in the right direction... Could also be a coil pack... But you don't want to assume unless you have an endless stash of cash. I know I don't! :)
I agree with all that has been posted. However, you don't say if the shaking clearly comes from the engine while it is idling, or if the car is shuddering when you are accelerating. Mine shakes like crazy when I accelerate hard. In my case its a front axle that is failing. One of these days I might even fix it. That might be your problem. Happens all the time with front wheel drives.
