what does it mean if it when you make a turn when driving it acts as if it is getting stuck 2002 pontiac grand am
what the wheels...or the steering...or the brakes.... ???
hello the steering
Could be steering rack internal bushing wear and it hangs up in a particular spot. Would inspect intermediate shaft as well for wear Make sure your steering fluid is o.k. belt condition and there are no leaks and or wobble in steering pump pulley. That's all I go for now to check :D ....Good Luck!
it seems to get stuck for a second when you make a turn
ok thank you. one more question do you know about how much it cost to fix ball park
That will depend on where you go or if you DIY this issue. If it is the rack you could be looking at anywhere from $700 and up for the part and labor for a rack job. Make sure to verify the offending part before ordering getting anything done. If your not going to go at it alone have a local mechanic give you an estimate and evaluation. Good Luck!
ok thank you
