I have never done this repair before on a Firebird but usually you can lay underneath the dash on the passenger side and access nuts and bolts on the blower motor itself to remove the blower motor out of the HVAC system you might have to remove like a kick plate panel in front of it and then be able to gain access to it after that, good luck look online to do a search for your model vehicle and year and for the removal of your blower hope that helps
