Can I swap the engine from an '04 Pontiac Bonneville into a '95 Pontiac Bonneville?

The motor in my '95 Bonneville is blown but transmission is fine. My brother
happens to have an '04 Bonneville with the exact opposite of problems. (great
engine, terrible transmission.)

No- save yourself a lot of time, trouble and money- sell both those broken piles for scrap and start over-
