1996 SL replaced driver window motor took glass out to do it now it wont go up straight tips forward

you may have to adjust the window tracks in the door and it possibly be the middle track that adjust forward and backward

check and see if the glass guide is still snapped into the hole in the top corner. It easily breaks or falls off when you take the window out and in. It is plastic and folds over the edge and snaps into the hole. it fits into the retainer in the run channel and keeps the window in place when it goes up and down.

yeah, check the plastic guide before anything else, then the tracks because its far easier to fix a small plastic clip than adjust a window track
