the hood on my 2002 mercury grand marquis is out of alignment and won't close flush, it was hit on the front of the fender by the light, how do i align the hood

Loosening the hood hinges and repositioning the hood may help, but I think you should take it to a body shop for adjustment or repair.

If the fender is damaged you'll need to fix that first. As Bob said a body shop is probably your best bet. HTH. -Jim
