will the computer reset after doing all this when the battrey has gone done and then recharged . because i have the same problem as number one grand marquie the feul pump come on but now it dont make

I guess I have to wait and let the computer reset its self I been trouble shooting for months a little at a time so any help is nice

If you have removed the battery for testing, recharge or repairs the ECM will reset back to factory default if over 30 minutes at the outside. On a Ford the fuel pump will come on for approx 5 seconds then turn off if the engine is not started or oil pressure is not present.
