Will the engine (v6) from a 2005 Taurus fit into a 2008?

The 2005 uses a 3.0L engine where the 2008 uses a 3.5L. I bet it will fit, but you will need to transfer over the trans and wiring harnesses and computer etc, mounts. Basically a custom job and once your all done, you'll have more money into the swap than the car is worth. So I would look for the same size 3.5L engine in a boneyard and keep it simple.
