Oil Sending Unit Location on a 3.8l

I have looked but can't find it. Where is this elusive five dollar replacement part hiding? They all must be in a different location on every motor, just depending on the mood of the factory line installer? Thanks

    1992 3.8L v6 broke the belt tensioner bolt. Is the aluminum block that the belt tensioner mounts to (about 2" thick) removable. It looks like it is being held to the block by 3 x 15mm nuts on studs?
