Question type: Maintenance & Repair

I have a 2005 Ford Taurus it's not overheating but the
coolant is draining quickly and I noticed a little trips on the
passenger side on the bottom I took a picture is by the
drain plug. Could this be a holes or something to do with
the drain plug and how much would it cost if someone was
to look at it not sure what to do

That is the petcock or commonly called the drain plug. It might just be loose. see if you can turn it slightly, finger tight or a little give on a wrench. Don't overturn it as it's only nylon. If it is tight, you can purchase another one at your auto parts store. it also has a rubber gasket there too. When removing, have the new one ready to go in, and put your finger over the end so you don't have to drain the whole radiator.
