The tailgates are a popular and easily stolen item. I'm on my 2nd now. Found a 2002 Tailgate on craigslistcom for my "06 Ranger- painted to match for $100. There's always been a debate about gas mileage with tailgate- vs. Gatornets, etc. Any ideas?

Mythbusters looked at tailgate vs. net twice and both times the net actually did get better gas mileage. The nets seem to be cheaper than a tailget so if you like the look go with that. Many people still think it is a lie that they get better milleage, but from an aerodynamics and fluid flow stand point it does make sense that they do.
