why is my truck blowing white blue smoke?

Asked by Dec 01, 2012 at 06:41 PM about the Ford F-350 Super Duty

Question type: General

just picked up this truck. Ive had it for 2 months. First month blew out smoke once maybe twice. This month countless times. Is it due to the colder weather? Also knocking engine sound is louder. Noticed that there has been a service bulletin on this issue of injectors. Can anyone help me out with this one

Take it to a garage and have them run a compression test. That will tell you the source of the smoke.

You might whant to put additive in the fuel (you can buy it at the dealer) - cleans the injectors - one might be sticking.
