Sure you can but read up on it. It will not need the computer but your trans will need a stand alone unit designed for use without a computer controlled engine. May need a few other odds and ends because of the power needs of the engine. May can find a kit from a high performance shop that has already worked up the needed swap in harness and Vacuum needs and fuel pump/regulator kits ect.

Have an 87 Ford f250 with a 460 engine and carburetor I can get it to run for about a mile then it gets sluggish and I have to let it sit for about 30 seconds before it will run properly again 1 answer
