My 93 f150 4.9 has run perfect for years. Then, started to stall and jerk. My mechanic replaced the Idle air Control Valve and ran perfectly for about 30 miles,then back to the same. What else should we try?

CEL on? Check for vacuum leaks? Clean the throttle body and EGR of carbon? PCV good? Plugs, wires, cap and rotor recently replaced?

had same problem with a buick turned out to be the TPS throttle position sensor,check that out!
