why 2003 ford f-150 stops running while on road
many possibilities including but not limited to dirty fuel filter, electrical issue, or (not trying to insult) being out of gas. any other details available?
My response if probably dated but. Back in the 70's I had a ford Torino muscle car which experienced the same problem. Back then there was a "power pack" bolted to the fender next to the battery. It would get hot and stop running until it cooled off. Since I was in college, and broke much of the time, I carried a gallon jug of water in the trunk. When it killed, I poured the water over the pack, and I was good for another twenty miles.
