ford straight 6 gas in oil?

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Replaced fuel pump, drove great for a day. Next day my brother drove it a few blocks and it started acting up. Checked it and again there was gas in the oil. Could I have gotten a bad replacement pump, or what else could cause this?

Thanks

Bob
