Is it easy to replace the control solenoid on a 2004 Ford explorer sports trac transmission

Yes remove the pan, remove the filter and it's right there in the bottom I believe there are 2 or 4 screws holding it in there... if there is metal in the pan when u remove it... u will need more then shift solonoids
