For what it's worth. I live way down south where it is flat and the temp rarely gets down below 40 degrees. We have no need for 4 X 4 vehicles down here, but I have been reading these form questions for years since I own three explorers plus an F-150. Allow me to say it seems there are more than enough questions about 4 X 4 problems in the two vehicles I mentioned to make me think, I'd never want a 4 X 4. If you really do not need one, why purchase one where the repairs are expensive? Like I said, for what is is worth.
