I have a 2008 ford explorer that is making noise when shifting in low gear. I had ruined a tire and replaced with same size but now dealer tells me you have to replace all 4 tires. Correct info?

For AWD vehicles, all 4 tires should be the same tread height for the system to work properly. A one off tire wouldn't make a noise shifting to low gear. How long have you had the new tire one. It could have caused your issue if it was on long enough.
