I have a 2002 ford escape 3.0L (V6) 4X2 automatic transmission , car running just fine ,stopped to get gas, once on the road it would not shift to overdrive, no reverse either What is problem?

Tranmission might have failed, or a shift soleniod. Your going to have to have it diagnosed.
