Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Truck starts, runs good for 30 minutes or so
and quits. Want start back right away.
Sometimes it takes an hour before it'll start
sometime the next day. Its throwing 0401
code. I've replaced fuel filter and get valve
but still want start or will start and run a
little while and quit and not start back

Besides above description, the Ignition Control Module can cause the not start, or hard start. It can be checked at Auto Zone.

K thanks man I'll try cleaning it good. Lotta shadetreeers are trying to get me to replace the fuel pump. I'm not even a shade tree mechanic. I'm just to broke to pa someone else to fix it lol. Thans for the feedback

Not suspecting the fuel pump at this point, nothing is pointing to that, throwing a code points you into the right direction to fixing a problem. ICM can have these same symptoms, thats why I mentioned it.

K I'm thinking it ignition control. Want even start with starting fluid till it cools
