I have a 03 and 98 crown Vic. Can the 98 fit in the
03?

Yes- the only caveat is ABS- does your 98 have ABS (this was not a standard item in 1998).

Wait so the 98 has an ABS light on? if so, then yes, the same should be fairly straight forward.

Ok because I've been told. It goes from 98-02 so the 03 wouldn't be compatible

The 03 is a police interceptor the 98 isnt

The diffs are the same, the pinion is the same, the mounting brackets are the same- heck even the brake discs are the same... I'm not sure why they would think it's different... there are differences with the head design/ motors, transmissions, but not the solid rear axle...

What about the whole rear end? You have to excuse me I don't know much about rear ends lol
