What needs to be repaired if the oil drain plug is absent and the oil dumps out after an oil change?

It could mean an entire new engine if it was driven with no oil for even a 100 feet.

If you caught it in time the oil pan hole for the drain plug could be stripped. Have it towed to the place that did the oil change, at their expense, so they can fix it for free. HTH. -Jim

so there's no drain plug and the oil just pours out and you ask what needs to be fixed? Just checkin' to see if I read that right-
