I have a 2002 Buick Rendezvous CLX and the tranny just stopped working while on the highway after getting it serviced 6 days ago?
Have had many probs with this care from computer under the chassis needed
to be replaced and reprogrammed ( only by the dealership) $2300 to over
heat and blown head gaskets at 85,000 miles to all 4 antilock break sensors
being replaced ( full wheeler hubs to replace them) to A.C. Probs! I've had the
oil changed every 3 months needed or not the tranny and all systems flushed
or replaced a head of schedule cause they went bad before they were
suppose to! Now with a brand newly rebuilt motor ( $3200) and of course the
tranny serviced 6 days ago, I was going down the highway and the motor
started to over ev like I was passing someone,, only I was only going 45 and
getting slower by the sec, pulled over and now have NO gears including park!
What the heck ( other words not appropriate for this post) is going on?
Anyone ells having this prob? If so please give details as to what it might be
or how much this is going to cost me? Thx for any help! This is crazy! And
the Luces none slip stuff? Is crap, don't listen to them posting its a damn fix!
You said the transmission was serviced, what was done? Fluid and filter? If the transmission is shot a rebuild can go $2-3k. Have the shop that did the motor install check it out and hope for the best.
Yeah it was the 120,000 mile tranny service a bit early but they flushed it and changed some filters! But it was running fine,, all the sudden it revved up but was not going any faster! We toed in on car hauler back home 40 miles ( we where on a rd trip just heading out) but this happen 3 months ago and stil, can't get it in park even! Sucks! I checked the fluid it's full and clean no debri or anything and all fuses check out! Just wierd! But I do see on this site now I'm not the only one this is happening to :( thx for the help il, see what I'm a going to do! Glad I just bought a jeep haha!
