Ran out of gas in my 2012 Nissan Sentra.. After putting some gas in, it won't start. What do I need to do?
My guess is that your car has a fuel inertia switch that probably tripped when you ran out of gas. You need to find it and push the button to reset it. I see some Nissans have the switch in the trunk on one side or the other.
Oh wow. Fuel inertia switch? Wow. How about vapor lock???? Yeah. That fits. @swmolar, wait about two to three hours. Gas vapor is in your system instead of gas as vapor was the last thing in your tank. Car runs off of gasoline plus the vapors. Just wait it out. Takes a while. Holy crap....inertia switch.... smh.
