2004 nissan sentra 1.8 S rough start and check engine light on

rough start and have to press pedal to start all the way even when gas take is full and
check engine light comes on but goes off after a few days and then stays off for a few
hours to a whole day then comes right back on..gas cap isnt loose and just replaced
battery and terminals, also when running air conditioner/heater it seems to not have as
much power when speeding up as when the air is off...150k miles and just bought car
3 months ago. service engine light wasnt on at all untill friend was putting in a radio
and pulled fuse out then put back in under hood, it went off for a while but came on
again, i tightened gas cap and it went back off for another 2 weeks, now its on again
but will go off and on..please help i'm clueless

Drive the car over to your local auto parts store and ask one of the techs to scan your car because your CEL is on. Have them provide you the 4 digit code and post it back here.
