Should my transmission be noisy?

I just recently bought a 2011 STI and i've never driven anything with as much
power as it or with as nice of parts. When i shift i can hear the transmission
making a clunking/creaking kind of noise. I'm not an expert at driving a
manual but i know i'm not grinding gears. I was just wondering if it is normal
for the transmission to be this loud.

Most probably not, have a trans shop or a mechanic take it for a test drive. Might be the fluid or worn parts.
