mazda refuses a repair under warranty
mazda blames a syncronizer problem on aftermarket parts
and abuse . neither is true tranny problems are not caused by
k/n air cleaner and borga exhaust. i do have a stage 3 clutch but
the sycronizers went out the last time before the clutch was installed
and the clutch was installed because the dealer said the other one
was bad . now 6 mnths later the sycronizers are out again. reading
some forums this is not a isolated case. by the way aftermarket
parts do not void your warrant under the magnuson-moss warranty
act of 1975.
call mazda usa and file a complaint....
First... "after-market parts do not void your warrant under the magnuson-moss warranty act of 1975." This statement is only applicable when it comes to the use of after-market factory replacement parts. It does not apply to performance parts. OEM approved performance parts come with a warranty statement of such that is accepted by the dealership for any warranty related issues. K&N came with such a card.. I am sure your exhaust did too.. What is probably giving you the problem with the dealership is the stage 3 clutch.
