Replace washer bottle 2014 Mazda 3i

Asked by Oitabeppu Jan 03, 2017 at 03:11 AM about the Mazda MAZDA3

Question type: Maintenance & Repair

Road debris punctured bumper cover and broke washer bottle. Can I replace
it by removing the wheel inner fender or must I remove the bumper. Also why
are there so many different bottles? How to tell which one is needed.

So yes you should not have to totally remove the inner fender well, just pop out the fasteners like half way around, then you should be able to move it to gain enough space to work on it. And yes you should have the right washer bottle just for the fact of being able to fasten it back into place. Washer bottles are design for that specific make, model of car so the fill spout and the container fit right, so the spout will come out in the right spot under the hood.

Isn't that a dumb place to put fluid reservoirs? Welcome to the 21st Century- and the "cars" we choose to drive, anyway-
