how can I open my frozen doors ana 2006 passat when its still 1 degree outside ?

Sitting at the airport for 3 days at the outside car park with negative temperatures. When I pushed the unlock the dash board lit up, but the door will not open. any ideas?

Is the battery dead? If the sun doesn't warm it up, the best thing to do is call AAA- or just abandon it like all the other cars in that horrible weather-

Believe it or not, pounding on your door will loosen the ice that has formed around your lock when you parked your warm car in the outside car park. Or I should say it might work. Beat around the door seals with you hammer fist. Make a fist and hit do not punch. It might also help if you stick the key in the key hole and try opening manually.
