My 2002 Passat has an intermittent start issue. At the same time the power door locks wont work. Turn the key and no crank.

I had this exact problem in my passat if you are able to there is a computer under neath the feet of the driver and the wires corrode because of a problem with that area becoming filled with water if u have the ability remove the seatpull back carpet and repair the wires that is all u need to do and mine worked fine i had to repair corrosion in i think aobut 5 or six wires.

Hi i have passat same isshu no start i chek the computer is ok but no start if u have idea i do that.and i chang also fuel pump but no working me waiting ur answer
