manual vs automatic

Asked by Jul 13, 2010 at 02:02 PM about the Volkswagen Jetta

Question type: Shopping & Pricing

Should I avoid older Jetta's that are automatic transmissions?

I am looking for a 1998 - 2001 (newer only if I can afford it).

What does it cost to fix the transmission if it goes?
