there is no way you only dropped 120 for a tranny replacement, 120 doesnt even come close to the labor let alone a whole new tranny..whose your hook up? lol

I have a '97 jetta 2.0L Jetta also and I had to get a rebuilt for 2K a replacement would have been 4k and i bought the car for 3400. I guess it is a prototype transmission. Pain in the ass and its starting to give me problems again and my rebuilt warrenty is up now.
